An Antique African Carved Wooden Double-sided Female Bust (Nyeleni) Bamana Peoples, West Africa. Depicted with two elongated faces adorned with a dogtooth edged sheet metal head band, wearing a head-dress decorated with incised diagonal markings and applied sheet metal, with a further sheet metal collaret to the tall cylindrical neck and pointed breasts protruding either side of the slab torso, raised on a flared stem and flat metal base, 36” (92 cm) high.
