A Rare Antique African Wooden Ceremonial Head of a Buffalo, from the Chambra People of Nigeria similar in style to the Mumuye. The head depicted with long horns, an abstract gouge carved face with an eye protruding one side and traces of pigment, on a flared neck cleaved to the centre, 25” ( 64 cm) in height.
