The rectangular padded back and seat covered in needlework with a scenic cartouche to the back depicting bagpiper and harpist surrounded by gros-point scrolls of flowers and foliage, and a basket of flowers to the seat, edged with tasselled fringing. The out-swept arms with scroll terminals on knopped baluster supports with similarly turned legs united by turned side rails, 45 in (114 cm) high, 27 in (69 cm) wide.
