A Late 19th Century Porcelain Slop Pail with pierced bowl inset by Bishop & Stonier Staffordshire, transfer printed in blue with ”Ming” pattern depicting prunus bloom clobbered in coloured enamels, and having a cane handle looped around knops either side. The base with a shield mark printed William Owen Westbourne Grove above MING BISTO LONDON. [William Owen ran a drapery shop on Westbourne Grove London in the late 19th century]. 10½” (27 cm) high (handle down), 10” (27 cm) in diameter.
