An Impressive 16th Century and Later Renaissance Walnut Trestle Table. The rectangular veneered slab top above turned pendant finials overhanging a central arcaded structure with four stop-fluted columns leading down to a low block stretcher between bold tapering rectangular end supports. The gadrooned and stop-fluted end supports carved with voluted capitals and having nulled scroll end sledge feet with oval convex panels each end carved with heraldic beasts. 30½ in (77.5 cm) high, 72 in x 39½ in (183 cm x 100 cm) (A/F).
