A 17th Century Stump-work Pelmet. The canopy edge cut out with decorative lappets around the bold foliate and tassel pendant motifs below a band of swept leafy quatrefoil sprigs. The padded motifs over-stitched in ecru twine embellished with metallic threads on a crimson moss ground backed with crimson velvet, 60” (152 cm) in length, 11” (28 cm) deep.
