A Group of Four 16th Century Ornamental Quadriform Ceiling Bosses (A/F). Each pierced and carved with Gothic foliage radiating out from the centrepoint, painted lead red and enhanced with gilding. One having wrythen sprays of serrated trefoils swirled around an inner void, the others having an outer layer of trefoils emanating from a raised layer of trefoils centred by a domed boss, approx 10½” (27 cm) wide.
