Description
A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Primitive, Country Armchair. The square ash back-hoop raised on turned baluster spindles flanking a pine plank back with bifoil cut top. The thick elm seat on silhouette cut legs united by a turned H-form stretcher, 35½ in (90 cm) high, 20½ in (52 cm) wide, 17 in (44 cm) deep.
