Description
A Pair of 19th Century Oak Terminals carved as 16th Century characters; one as Shakespeare; his head above a layered ruff collar stamped with punchwork rising from a tapering pendant palm leaf, the other character depicted grimacing with outswept hair and staring eyes, 18¼ in (46 cm) in length, 4¼ in (11 cm) width at top, tapering down to 3¼ in (8 cm).
