The central door emblazoned with a mediaeval battle scene in an arched niche between pierced strap hinges backed in red fabric, alongside an ornamental iron lock between upper & lower romayne heads. The door flanked by canted, arcaded panels carved with figures, and linen-fold carved side panels divided by chip carved pilasters. The frieze housing a drawer depicting a grotesque head exhaling scrolling sprays of foliage with ornamental pendant finials carved in the form of creatures overhanging the linen fold panelled back leading down to a moulded pot shelf base on bracket feet, 54” (137 cm) high, 24” (87 cm) wide, 17½” (44.5 cm) deep.
