The upper section having a moulded cornice above two arch-topped glass panel doors enclosing adjustable shelves on ratchet supports. The base housing a secrètaire above a twin-doored cupboard with flamed figured panels in cross-banded borders. The hinged, lip-moulded drawer front with turned knop handles, opening to reveal a tooled leather writing surface and a bank of pigeon holes flanked by satinwood veneered side drawers to the back. The panel doors below having moulded re-entrant corner details flanked by scroll-ended pilasters enriched with palmate carving above a breakfront base on foliate carved feet, 79½” (202 cm) high, 79½” (101 cm) wide, 19” (48 cm) deep.
