The rectangular box inlaid with chequer bands and small foliate sprigs to the front, mounted with silvered metal corner brackets and having a swing handle to the top. The front falling down to reveal a bank of various sized drawers decorated with geometric and architectural designs edged in moulding with small wooden knob handles. Standing on turned feet, 6¾ ins (17 cs) high, 7½ ins (19 cms) wide, 4¾ ins (12 cms) deep.
