The centre emblazoned with a large eight-point star of small diamond shaped patches radiating out in concentric bands from the middle, within a saw-edge band of red checked triangles. The off white ground appliquéd with swags and decorative printed cut-out designs, the patterned fabric used for the peripheral bands. The red plaid cotton backing dotted with black knotted threads, 104 ” x 92½” (265 cm x 235 cm).
