The square section needle holder with four small corner finials surrounding the needle hole, decorated with potted plants to the front and side, and a fish to the back; the curved blade engraved with a mother, nanny and little boy to one side and a man, dog and rabbit to the reverse, 8½ in (21.5 cm) in length.
