Two French Vintage Pillivuyt Game Tureens: Both navette shaped dishes having moulded fluting to the waisted sides and a crimped rope-twist edge, with moulded game lids; one modelled as a duck’s head, the other as a hare/rabbit’s head inset with glass eyes. The duck tureen 7” (18 cm) high, 10” x 6” (25 cm x 15 cm) impressed 5 on base, the rabbit tureen 6” (15 cm) high, 9” x 4½” (23 cm x 11.5 cm) impressed 3 on base.
