The tall ivory silk panel worked in coloured silk threads with birds flitting around the trunk of an undulating pine tree entwined in wisteria, a cockatoo perched upon a branch and chrysanthemums growing at it’s foot, with roosters, rockwork, insects, butterflies and a clump of irises to the foreground, 51½” x 13½” (131 cm x 34 cm). Mounted and set behind glass in a moulded frame, 57” x 18½” (120 cm x 47 cm).
