A Low Splat-back Windsor Armchair attributed to Yorkshire Circa 1830-70. The ash back hoop enclosing a central splat pierced with a stylised fleur-de-lis motif to the upper splat and keyhole motif below, flanked by three tapered spindles either side, and three further underarm spindles with decoratively turned end posts. The elm seat on turned baluster legs with knopped pear-shaped feet and a turned H-form stretcher, 37” (94 cm) high, 17½” (44 cm) seat height, 21¼” (51 cm) wide.
