The stand holding an incomplete set of books in decorative leather bindings; ‘Proude’s History of England’ volumes II -XII (I missing) with tooled spines and gilt blocked covers inscribed ‘Christ’s Hospital Montefoiori Prize’, and a decorative 19th century cast brass candlestick, 4” (10 cm) in height.
