A Set of Six Late 19th Century Lath-back Windsor Side Chairs accompanied by a pair of high lath-back armchairs, attributed to Buckinghamshire. The beechwood side chairs with slightly curved top rails above four swept laths flanked up swept side supports with ball knop tuning to the tops. The elm seats on baluster legs united by H-form elliptical stretchers, 35” (89 cm) high, 19” (48 cm) wide. The armchairs with five tall back laths, scroll end arms on decoratively turned pairs of underarm spindles, and well turned baluster legs united by two cross stretchers, 44” (112 cm) high, 22” (56 cm) wide, the seats 18” (46 cm) high.
