The slightly domed lid centred by a carved rosette with turned finial and edged in twin rope-twist bands, hinged to an carved scroll handle. The tapered cylindrical vessel with groove turned rim and chip carved base raised on three carved foliate supports, 4½” (10.5 cm) high.
