A Fine 18th Century Chip Carved Treen Knitting Sheath possibly Welsh. The short bowed D-section piece with an central cut notch bands of geometric designs and inlaid band of ebony and boxwood. The curved back incised EIPM, 4½ in (11.5 cm) in length and needle hole to each end.
