Description
Four Treen Goblets: A Small Lignum Vitae Goblet of 17th century style with a finely reeded band to the top of the thinly turned bowl and a squat baluster stem over a slightly domed foot, 3¼ ins (9 cm) high. A small late 18th /early 19th century fruitwood goblet, possibly apple, with a thinly turned straight sided bowl over a stepped circular foot, 3 ¼ ins (8.5 cm) high. A small late 18th /early 19th century elm goblet with a ring-turned rim to the U-shaped bowl and a short stem over a stepped circular foot, 4 ins ( 10 cm) high and a small fruitwood goblet with a tulip shaped bowl with finely turned band below the everted rim and a thin stem with fine blade knop over a stepped circular foot, 4 ½ ins (11.5 cm) high.
