An Unusual 19th Century Ormolu & Bronze Mantel Clock of fine quality. The gilded dial relief cast with scrolling foliage and inset with porcelain numeral plaquettes, mounted in a domed gilt case with a rich brown patinated bronze figural mount to the facade. The crisply cast classical figures each holding aloft a bird and sat amongst lavish scrolls of foliage. The top surmounted by a foliate crested finial above a face mask wreathed in vine, 17¾ ” (45 cm) high, 12½” (32 cm) wide.
