Three Blue & White Plates (A/F). A large 18th century Delft plate decorated with flowers, 13¾” (35 cm) in diameter. A scallop-edged charger decorated with a wading bird flanked by peonies to the centre encircled by a band radiating feathers, and framed in a border of wrythen panels containing flowers and leafy fronds, 13¾” (35 cm) in diameter. And an early 19th century Continental blue & white plate, possibly Spanish, decorated with a bird perched on a foliate spray to the centre surrounded by concentric bands of trefoil sprigged scrollwork in a dash banded border, the back initialed A.S. 12¼” (31 cm) in diameter.
