Description
Three 16th Century Bone Plaquette/Appliqués; Two vertical carved with a pair of opposing angels; each holding a communion cup and stood on a decorative plinth within a ropetwist border, approximately 7¼ in (18.5 cm) high, 2 in (5 cm) wide, mounted on wooden blocks. One horizontal carved in low relief with a pair of delightful kneeling angels holding between them a communion chalice with rayed host, contained in a D-ended ropetwist surround and mounted in a wooden block, 2¼ in x 6¼ in (6 cm x 16 cm).
