Description
A Late 19th Century Kingwood Bureau de Dame with Sèvres style porcelain plaques and decorative gilt metal mounts. The sloped fall front centred by an oval plaque depicting two celestial cherubs, and enclosing two pairs of drawers flanking cubby holes to the back with a baize insert to the flap. The frieze housing two short upper drawers with pivoting props inside to support the flap, over one long swept apron drawer, standing on tapering cabriole legs, 36” (91 cm) high, 29½” (75 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm) deep.
