Three Charming 19th Century Nursery Plates: The largest transfer printed in puce with figural scene entitled ‘Mama Alfred in Eating the Sugar’; the border relief moulded with the alphabet within a beaded rim with two black edging lines, 7” (18 cm) in diameter. And a pair transfer printed in puce with untitiled scenes depicting a boy & girl playing on a swing, and a man with bird-cage, the borders relief moulded with bands of graduated daisy heads within a scalloped rim, 5¾” (14.5 cm) in diameter.
