The diagonally grained veneers inlaid with scrolling rosewood strapwork outlined in stringing and adorned with gilt bronze mounts featuring female face masks to the fall front, back and sides. The interior fitted with a tooled leather writing surface, small drawers and pigeon holes. The piece elevated on sweeping cabriole legs with foliate cast mounts, 43¾” (111 cm) high, 32” (81 cm) wide, 16½” (42 cm) deep.
