A Small Black Lacquered Chinoiserie Bracket Clock, Circa 1920. The case decorated in raised gilt lacquered and having a caddy top surmounted by a carrying handle, and moulded base on squat bun feet, 11½” (29 cm) in height. The 4½” (12 cm) square brass dial engraved with foliate scrolls and having a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, the back plate stamped Astral Coventry 16852.
