A Pair of Magnificent Italian Renaissance Carved Walnut Furniture Bearers in the form of recumbent Lions attributed to Umbria, late 15th century. The beasts retaining traces of residual polychrome, depicted with flowing manes; their front paws hooked over a scrolled end, their elongated bodies with hollowed out backs, lying on rectangular bases. 15” (38 cm,) high, 37” (94 cm) in length, 8” (20 cm) wide.
