A Small 19th Century Pearlware Child’s Plate transfer printed in ironstone red with religious verse ”Grace after Meat” to the centre in a relief moulded border of undulating flowers and foliage clobbered in rust and green enamels with flower heads, leaves and scrolling tendrils, 6” (15 cm) in diameter. And another small 19th century pearl-ware plate of octagonal form with a transfer printed figural scene of men brawling to the centre beneath the heading ‘Flow thou regal purple Stream’ framed by a relief moulded trellis border, 7” (18 cm) wide.
