A Rare and Beautiful Vintage Silver Zuni ”Rainbow God” Cuff Bangle, by the world renowned silversmith Alonzo Hustito. The exquisitely crafted main figure is made up of coral, turquoise, shell and jet, with hand worked silver decoration to the edges of the piece as well as large fan style demi-lune decoration to the bangle itself. The piece is attributed to Alonzo Hustito, circa 1950’s/60’s and is signed with his hallmark. Approx. 5 cm tall, 18 cm in length. [Heavily referenced in Toshio Sei’s book ”Knifeiwng and Rainbow Man in Zuni Jewelry”, and believed to be the original creator of Knifewing, Rainbow Man and Thunderbird designs.]
