An Exceedingly Rare and Beautiful Vintage Silver Zuni Five Panel Bracelet, depicting five of the ”Shalako Kachina Gods”. The five mother of pearl panels show in order of left to right, ”Kachina”, ”Saiyatasha”, ”Shulawitsi”, ”Hututu” and ”Yamhakto”. The panels are made up of mosiacs of jet, blue sleeping beauty turquoise, coral and yellow lip shell. They are impressively detailed and a highly unusual, if not unique creation by the renowned artists Florentine and Lela Panteah, signed ”Florentine and Lela Panteah, Zuni, Ne Mexico” circa 1950’s/60’s. The deities used are to protect a village on all fronts possible and relate to the Shalako Festival of Zuni, usually carried out late in the year. Approx. 20 cm in length, 3.5 cm high.
