A Vintage Zuni Silver Belt Buckle, displaying a ”Shalako” character sticking out his tongue. The mosaic set in jet with mother of pearl, coral turquoise, and tortoise shell inlay framed by a very attractive silver outer edge. The piece was handmade by Augustine and Rosalie Pinto,circa 1950’s, is signed to the rear ”ARP ZUNI NM”. Approx. 7 cm tall, 8 cm wide, stamped.
