The needle holder located in an octagonal post carved with stylised leaves and geometric diaper-work above a wrythen fluted screw thread section. The chain carved from a single piece (broken) with a swivel link to the centre and a square twin-hooked pendant to the end, 14 in (35.5 cm) in length.
