A Highly Decorative 19th Century Sèvres Style Porcelain Lyre Clock & Garniture Set with gilt bronze mounts, after an example believed to have been made for Queen Marie Antoinette by Kinable. The movement in a drum case striking a bell with a convex enamelled dial painted with swagged garlands of pink roses, encircled by a pendulum ring of paste stones suspended from a gridiron support. The deep, rich blue glazed case ornamented with strings of gilt beading, laurel garlands, marguerites and swagged roses surmounted by a love trophy. Standing on an oval pedestal 20” (50 cm) in height. The accompanying candelabra modelled as urns of rambling gilt wire roses with candle-cups incorporated into the flower heads, 17¾” (45 cm) high.
