LOT NUMBER 128
A Carved & Panelled Oak Door dated 1679, originally from Agecroft Hall in Manchester (dismantled in the 1920s and re-built in Richmond Virginia on the banks of the James River). The narrow door having two principal panels; both carved with a fluted urn of flowers, berries and foliage and divided by shallower panels with an arched marquetry panel to the top. The uprights adorned with undulating vine issuing clusters of fruit and foliage, 70¼ in x 20¾ in (178.5 cm x 53 cm).
