A Fine 19th Century Coromandel Box. The domed lid inset with with a silvered plaque inscribed; 'Richard Bromley from GHH Hayhurst 1884', opening to release the hinged fall front and revealing a fitted interior veneered in maple and lined with deep blue velvet, having compartments for two decanters, a slotted glass holder to the front above a revolving panel enclosing a demi-lune cigar holder. The small gilded plaque to the back engraved Manufactured for HM Emanuel & Sons Silversmiths to the Queen Ordinance Row Portsea, 9¼ ins x 9¼ ins x 10 ins (23.5 cms x 23.5 cms x 25.5 cms).
