An Early 17th Century Refectory Table. The thick two-plank elm top having cleated ends and measuring 94½ ins x 36 ins (240 cms x 92 cms). The shaped front and side rails ornamented with nulling and standing on bulbous cup & cover legs carved with rising acanthus and gadrooning and terminating on block feet united by peripheral block stretchers, 33 ins (84 cms) in height.From Sir Alistair Graham's Collection, Lower Old Hall, Norland.
