A Fine 18th Century Spanish Collector's Cabinet on Stand. The break-front cabinet elaborately inlaid with panels of red tortoiseshell framed in borders of scrolling stringing and surmounted by a spindled gallery top with gilt brass balustrading. The central door adorned with fine gilt bronze mounts; a depiction of The Immaculate Virgin to an arched niche flanked by columns and ebonised moulding, embellished with face masks, fruit garlands and rampant lions. The cabinet raised on ball & claw feet and housing four internal drawers, with three drawers either side and iron swing handles either end. 25 in (64 cms) high, 43½ in (110 cms) wide, 12 in (30 cms) deep. The table stand with inlaid top on ebonised bobbin turned A-frame supports braced by scrolling iron brackets.
