Live bidding

Bidders who wish to use a Live Internet Bidding Facility to bid for lots in our forthcoming auctions will need to register either with ourselves or with our Live Auction providers, Invaluable Auctions, ATG Media, through www.the-saleroom.com or with bid on this Bid on this.

You can click on any of the links above to take you to the correseponding website where you are able to register. It is best to do this prior to the sale day as registration on some sites does close prior to the sale commencing.

Registration

During the registration process you will be required to provide debit or credit card details which can be verified against the personal information you submit.  We cannot accept American Express cards for registration purposes.  You will not be approved for live bidding unless you complete the registration in full.

Once registered you will be able to send commission bids in advance of the sale or bid live online during the sale via The-Saleroom, bind on this or Invaluable websites.

Please note that we also accept commission bids directly which will not be subject to the extra commission (either 3 or 5%)

Live Auction Fee & Buyers Premium

The standard buyers premium is 20% of the hammer price. Any bids sent to us via a website apart from commission bids directly through our own websited attracts an additional 3% +VAT or 5% charge on top, making a total of 23% or 25% of the hammer price.  The extra 3% or 5% covers the service charges made by ATG Media/ Invaluable Auctions. These charges are subject to 20% VAT.For items purchased through the bid on this website the additional premium of 1.5% is suspended until the end of the year (2017) so only the standard auction commission of 20% is applied, plus VAT where appropriate.

Invoices

We will send invoices via email and post to successful bidders within two days after a sale.

Payment

We do not have access to the payment details registered with either Invaluable Auctions or The Saleroom.com, so will not charge any amount owed for lots purchased to the card used during their registration. Please contact us directly to arrange successful payment for any goods purchased.

Once a payment method is registered with bidonthis, the amount required for any and all items purchased will be charged directly during the sale day. Should the card payment request be unsuccessful bid on this will contact Wilkinsons to discuss the matter further, which may result in the sale being cancelled and or further consequences. Arrangements for postage and shipping can also be made directly with us and added to the invoice.
