The column having a scrolling foliate capital with gadrooned edge above a tapered stop-fluted pillar with sunked reeds rising from the base on a square stepped plinth, 14½'' (37 cm) high, with electric attachment to the top.

    Two Silver Dishes: A fine Edwardian cake basket by William Devenport hallmarked Birmingham 1901 of rectangular form with decoratively pierced and embossed border mounted with a twin rope-twist swing handle adorned with graduated balls. And a Victorian pierced oval bonbon dish by Joseph Gloster, hallmarked Birmingham 1898, the scrolling border incorporating trellis work and cartouches with birds either side.

The bowl with flared rim, a ring of beading and decorative frieze embossed & chased with acorns and oak leaves, elevated on a centre pedestal with three protuberant lion heads festooned in bell flower garlands. The domed foot ornamented with garlands of oak leaves and laurel, 11¾'' (30 cm) high, 10½'' (27 cm) in diameter. Approx 1400 g.
