    A Rare 18th Century Carved & Polychromed Automata Nutmeg Grater, Poss reference to the East Indian Spice Wars. The pierced sheet iron rasp set in a chip carved frame decorated with a daisy and surmounted by an articulated figure of man wearing tricorn hat pounding a pole, with his trousers dropping to expose his backside when bending, (27 cm) in height (standing), (4 cm) wide.

    An Early 19th Century Dutch Painted Fresian Wall Clock with alarum. The dial painted with a grisaille harbour scene to the centre of the chapter ring and polychrome landscape to the spandrels, flanked by gilt metal caryatids and surmounted by intricate scrolling pediment pieces framing the domed bell, (43 cm) in height. The wall bracket painted with roses and sprays of flowers on a dark green ground with a domed canopy to the top embellished with a decorative gilt metal surmount, (73 cm) overall length.

The box-form upper section sitting within moulded rails of the chest base and having a hinged lid opening to reveal an open trough above a bank of four small drawers to the interior. The chest base accommodating two short over one long drawer with turned mushroom knob handles standing on bracket feet, (104 cm) high, (102 cm) wide, (46 cm) deep.
