    A 19th Century Knitting Sheath with Chain and Wool Hook. The sheath of curved square section pierced with a cage containing two small rolling balls and naively painted with hearts, and small fish with panels of decoratively stained feather banding and a small inset initialed T.G. The four link chain carved from a single piece, threaded with a turned pendant and metal hook to the end, 14¼ in (36 cm) in length.

    A Fine 18th Century Chip Carved Treen Knitting Sheath possibly Welsh. The short bowed D-section piece with an central cut notch bands of geometric designs and inlaid band of ebony and boxwood. The curved back incised EIPM, 4½ in (11.5 cm) in length and needle hole to each end.

    Two Antique Knitting Sheaths: An 18th/19th Century North East Country Folk Art Knitting Sheath; the round section needle holder incised with ring-turning above crudely carved diagonal crosses, a slanted belt notch and curved lower section with scroll end, 6 in (15.5 cm) in length. An Antique Knitting Sheath made from a clothes peg naively carved with initials MP and stylised trees dotted with nail punched foliage, 6½ in (16.5 cm) in length.
