    A 17th Century Caltagirone Maiolica Vaso a Palla, decorated with the bust of a soldier in manganese, blue, yellow, ochre and green glaze within a roundel amidst scrolls of flowers and foliage on a blue glazed ground, 8¾ in (22 cm) in height.

    An Unusual 17th Century Maiolica Wet Jar (A.F). The vaso a palla vessel decorated in blue, ochre & yellow glaze with nymphs and angels amongst billowing clouds and having a scrolled 'basket' handle with moulded shell mounts to the shoulders and female face masks below spouts either side, and coiled tendrils adorning the rim, 11½ in (29 cm) in height.

    LOT NUMBER 346

    A Large 17th Century Italian Cedar Adige Chest. The planked top with traces of residual penwork decoration to a centre roundel and borders, opening to reveal an elaborately decorated penwork underside incorporating an arcaded band of musical cherubs above two moulded scenic panel with figures, flanked by lutists, with shield bearing putti above scrolling foliage to the centre; all displayed against a cut-away & punched 'mesh' ground. The interior having a open till to one end and stamped embellishments to the rim with iron brackets reinforcing the corners. The facade with three panels of further faded decoration, silhouetted against a recessed mesh punched ground, on a moulded plinth base 30 in (76 cm) high, 78¾ in (200 cm) wide, 30¾ in (78 cm) deep.

    An Unusual 17th Century Inlaid Walnut Casonne with enclosed drawers. The lid on loop hinges above a triple panelled facade and single panelled sides. The moulded panels enriched with marquetry. The decorative frieze and base rails divided into subsidiary panels by chip-carved uprights and inlaid with pairs of opposed birds and baskets of fruit enhanced with pen-worked details. One side being a door and opening to reveal three internal drawers engraved with baskets of fruit, sun & moon, and landscape & sailing ship. Raised on stepped and moulded block feet 24 in (61 cm) high, 55 in (140 cm) wide, 20½ in (52 cm) deep..

    A 17th Century Spanish Walnut Table. The single plank top inset with patch repairs. The frieze boldly carved on all four sides with undulating foliage and paterae to the tenon blocks, the front housing two drawers with moulded borders. The turned and block legs terminating on later block feet, 32 in (81 cm) high, 78 in (198 cm) in length, 29½ in (75 cm) wide.

    A Small 18th Century Italian Walnut Drop Leaf Table (A/F). The oval top with moulded edge above a drawer to one end and elaborately cut scrolling end plank supports on sledge feet, united by two base rails with shaped pivoting flaps to the centre, swinging out to support the leaves. 25½ in (65 cm) high, 31½ in x 26¾ in (80 cm x 68 cm).

    A Fine 16th Century North Italian Walnut Chair attributed to Brescia, Lombardy. The back composed of two broad horizontal splats with carved voluted scroll edges surrounding a central burr-figured panel of root walnut bordered in decorative bands inlaid with stringing. The square uprights surmounted by carved finials. The plank seat on square legs above scrolling seat and base rails either side of a scroll edged panel reflecting the back panels, 49 in (125 cm) high, the seat 21½ in (55 cm) high, 21 in (53 cm) wide, 15¾ in (40 cm) deep. [Very similar examples can found at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum Milan].

A pair woven with armorial crests on a blue ground in borders of fruit and foliage 12½ ins x 21½ in (32 cm x 54 cm). The other with a lion mask urn amidst an abundance of fruit and flowers, 16½ in x 22 in (42 cm x 57 cm).
