    Two 19th Century Woolwork Panels: One depicting a collared dove perched on a flowering bough dated 1842 and set in a glazed birdseye maple frame with mahogany banded edges, 18 in x 18¾ in (46 cm x 48 cm). The other of a girl in garden with cat & kitten, cut out and appliquéd to an ivory moiré silk ground, in a glazed frame 17¾ in (45 cm) square.

    A Victorian Sampler by Betsey Powell dated 1879. Worked in coloured wools on linen with roses flanking 'The desert shall blossom as a rose' above a basket of flowers, a chalice entwined with a serpent, a parrot, donkey, figures and dogs, in a moulded oak frame, 21½ in (55 cm) square.

    A Fine 19th Century French Needlework Panel depicting 'St. Jeanne' standing with hands held in prayer; the figure with decoupage printed paper face and hands, and a title label to the base. Set behind glass in a cavetto moulded gilt frame adorned with scrolling stems of oak leaves and acorns to the corners. 18¼ in x 14½ in (46 cm x 37 cm). Also a 19th century beadwork panel 'Ave Maria' in a decorative moulded frame (A/F), 10½ in x 10¼ in (26.5 cms x 26 cm).

    A Pretty 18th Century Sampler by Sarah Pemmer dated 1714, with unusual numeric/alphabet and moralistic verse, 17¾ in x 7¾ in (45 cm x 20 cm), mounted in a modern glazed frame, 22 ins x 11¾ in (56 cm x 30 cm).

    A Rare Early Quaker Medallion Sampler, stitched in red on a linen ground with octagonal medallions and urns of flowers, incorporating dates 1780 & 1782 along with initials AC (the sewer), HS & ML. (These three sets of random initials match to pupils in the 1st year of Ackworth School\'s existence when there were fewer than 100 girls attending) The side stitched by another hand with the later date 1815 SARA SWC, 17¼ in x 5 in (44 cm x 12.5 cm). Mounted in a modern glazed frame 20½ in x 8½ in (52 cm x 21.5 cm).

    Two Fine Spot Samplers: One by M.Sloor dated 1888 with alphabet between bands of undulating berries & ivy above intricately worked patches in red sample stitches, over numerals and inscription to the base, set in a glazed frame 12¼ in x 13¼ in (31 cm x 34 cm). The other initialed LSJC above coloured sample patches edged in crocheted lace and set behind glass in a moulded frame 16½ in x 15¼ in (42 cm x 39 cm).

    Four Framed Flemish Samplers: One worked in red thread on a linen ground with alphabet in a glazed frame 11¾ in x 14 in (30 cm x 35.5 cm). Two worked in red wool on an open-weave mesh with alphabet and numbers; one Antwerp dated 1903, 11½ in x 13¾ in (28.5 cm x 35 cm). The other by Stephania Hennes of Santhoven dated 1894, 12½ in x 18 in (32 cm x 46 cm). The fourth worked in coloured wools with alphabet, numbers, IHS initials, birds, flowering plants and motifs, dated 1874, 22½ in x 29¾ in (57 cm x 30 cm).
