    An Interesting 19th Century Sampler by Martha Dyson 1847 New School Ackworth, 9½ ins x 12½ ins (24 cm x 32 cm). [Martha was born in Ackworth, Yorkshire to James & Azubah Dyson in 1835. Although the lettering in the Sampler has a strong Quaker influence, they were not Quakers and Martha was baptised at the local church of Saint Cuthberts].

    A 17th Century Palissy Type Tazza, School of Fontainebleu. The circular dish moulded in relief and painted in predominantly blue, green, ochre & brown glaze. Perseus depicted flying through the air towards the chained Andromeda, with a sea-monster beneath and several onlookers on the shore before. Framed by an ochre rim band and standing on a low pedestal foot with mottled brown glaze to the underside, 9¼ in (23.5 cm) in diameter
