The top measuring 14½ ins x 7½ ins (37 cms x 19 cms) above three short upper drawers and three long graduated drawers below edged in cock-beading and inlaid with stringing. The gilt metal ring handles on lion mask mounts. Standing on swept bracket feet 12½ ins (32 cms) in height.

    A Handsome 19th Century Mahogany Mantel Clock with Fusee Movement. The 7½ inch (19 cm) silvered dial signed S Grant & Sons Calcutta, with a subsidiary seconds dial, set in a domed serpentine topped case lavishly carved with garlands of flowers and scrolled acanthus leaves leading down to the moulded base, 18½ ins (77 cms) high, 22 ins (56 cms) wide.
