    An Inlaid Rosewood Mantel Clock. The movement striking a gong and stamped Medaille d'Or Samuel Marti Paris, WBK & Fils Paris with a round white enamel dial in an octagonal surround ornamented with scrolling foliate silhouettes in brass inlaid panels and having brass ring handles on rosette mounts to the sides and surmounted by a cast brass handle to the top. The plinth base fitted with a side opening drawer and decorated with a man performing with five horses bearing flags, raised on brass bun feet 21 ins (54 cms) in height.
