    A Charming Early 19th Century Prisoner of War Carved Bone Watch Holder. The drum shaped watch receptacle centring a lacy fret-carved panel of scrolling foliage flanked by the figures of Roman guards stood before turned columns on pedestals either side of the galleried base. Their plumed helmets supporting a canopy top with a domed centre section and turned ball finials to the corners. 9½ ins 24 cms) in height (A/F).

    A Pair of Small Silver Mounted Ivory Vases with Shimayama Decoration. The narrow silver necks flaring out to form fluted floriform rims and enriched with scrolling champleve flowers and foliage reflected on the silver quatrefoil bases. The ivory bodies intricately carved with foliate bands and ornamented with Shimayama inlay of birds, blossom and wisteria, 6½ ins (16.5 cms) in height, raised a further inch on carved wooden stands.
